My March Book: "How To Win Friends And Influence People" by Dale Carnegie

Hello babes. I hope life is treating you well.
I am a bit late on my monthly readings (since my hiatus I haven't read anything. The last book I remember reading was "The Girl On The Train" and that was ages ago. And I did like it btw. Hated the movie.) but I have returned with a book called "How To Win Friends And Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. It took me a while to finish it because not only this is a lengthy book and also educational, so you have to pay extra attention. (The book itself recommends highlighting relevant information.)

This is a classic "self-help" book from the 1930s. As it says in the title, this is a book that shares the secrets on how to win friends and influence people, with remarkable individuals as examples. I wouldn't recommend skipping the examples parts (I know they are long but bear with it) because they are, as examples should be, the rule in real life. It shows you on how following a certain rule or a state of mind can take you a step forward on whatever you want to achieve.

I am a quite shy person with big dreams that will involve "conquering" a lot of people to my cause. I have learnt a lot with it. I am definitely going back to it, every time I face a hard time. While researching, I found several variations of the book, so if you want a simplified version of it, go for it! You will not regret it.

(If you want a summary of the rules/secrets, please let me know! And if you have read the book, comment on what you thought of it!)

See you soon babes,
xoxo, I
